Dispater by Liubov Volkova is an accidental narrow unicase display typeface drawing on dark medieval aesthetics and the dramatic elegance of Lombardic capitals. Its long, tail-like terminals and elongated features — particularly in letters like T, F, L, and Г — end in sweeping teardrop shapes that give the face a winding, surreal character. A variable font available in five weights, it supports all European languages in both Latin and Cyrillic scripts, including Ukrainian, Serbian, Belarusian, and Russian, complete with a rich set of ligatures.
