What Font is Google?
The Google Font is based on Catull BQ Regular, a commercial serif typeface created in 1982 by German designer Gustav Jaeger for Berthold. Known for its distinctive flared strokes and expressive serif shapes, Catull gave Google’s early logo its recognizable, slightly calligraphic charm. Because Catull BQ Regular is a commercial font, it requires a license for use.
