Biceps Grotesk by Together With You is a display typeface built on a deceptively simple premise: every letterform is constructed using only squares and triangles. The concept comes directly from the dumbbell — an object that can itself be described in exactly those two shapes — and the resulting alphabet has the satisfying visual logic of a modular system that has been pushed as far as it can go. The designers welcome collaboration and would love to see it in use.
