Bolero-esque Honora Font

Bolero-esque Honora is a humanist-inspired sans serif typeface by Vietnamese designer Manh Nguyen, built from a quietly remarkable origin: the rescued letterforms of a now-vanished hand-painted wall sign. Rather than simply digitizing what remained, Nguyen used those historical traces as a typographic foundation — developing a complete lowercase system in a minimalist humanist direction, with single-storey forms, a high x-height, and strokes that feel both sturdy and gently contoured.
Bolero-esque Honora is a standout entry in our free fonts collection, offered by Ho Chi Minh City-based designer Manh Nguyen. It is free for both personal and commercial use, with the author requesting credit where possible and prohibiting redistribution or structural modification of the font files.
