1797 Claustro Comfama Font

1797 Claustro Comfama is a free display sans serif typeface with deep roots in Colombian institutional history. Originally developed by Parque Explora under the name Neue_Haut for the Claustro Comfama San Ignacio — a historic 18th-century convent-turned-cultural center in Medellín — the typeface carries the quiet confidence of a project with genuine purpose behind it. Designed by Santiago Arango, it combines clean geometric construction with a warm, humanist sensibility, making it equally at home in editorial layouts, identity systems, and branding contexts. Its cultural origins give it a distinctive character that transcends trends, and the full family delivers enough range to carry cohesive visual systems across varied applications.
