What Font is Sekiro?

The Sekiro Font is based on Athelas, a serif typeface used in a modified form for the game’s title design. The font features elegant proportions, sharp serifs, and a classical structure that gives the logo a dramatic and refined appearance.

Athelas combines traditional serif craftsmanship with a dark, cinematic tone, fitting the game’s historical Japanese setting and brutal atmosphere. The slightly altered letterforms in the logo add weight and intensity, enhancing the sense of honor, conflict, and destiny. While Athelas is a commercial font, free alternative fonts with similar serif characteristics can be used to recreate the Sekiro look for fan art, posters, and personal design projects.
