1923 (2022) is a Western drama series created by Taylor Sheridan, serving as a major prequel within the Yellowstone franchise, set between World War I and the Great Depression. The story follows Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) and Cara Dutton (Helen Mirren) as they fight to protect the Dutton ranch against economic collapse, drought, livestock disease, and rising conflict over land and power.
