What Font is Toblerone?

The Toblerone font is a fully custom-designed typeface created exclusively for the iconic Swiss chocolate brand. Known as Tobler, this multi-layered type family was commissioned by Bulletproof London to harmonize with Toblerone’s refreshed wordmark. The typeface includes three styles — Solid, Outline, and Shadow — which can be layered to emulate the brand’s instantly recognizable 3D logo effect. Since Tobler is proprietary and not publicly available, we’ve identified a free alternative font that captures the geometric, bold, mountain-inspired feel of the original Toblerone lettering.

About Toblerone

Toblerone is one of Switzerland’s most famous chocolate brands, first created in 1908 by Theodor Tobler and Emil Baumann. Its signature triangular shape was inspired by the Matterhorn and helped the bar stand out as a premium confection. The chocolate’s blend of honey and almond nougat quickly became a beloved treat worldwide. Over time, the brand adopted its distinctive red-and-yellow logo, which reflects both Swiss heritage and the chocolate’s iconic silhouette. Today, Toblerone remains a global favorite, instantly recognized for its unique shape, bold packaging, and unmistakable taste.
