What Font is HSBC?

The HSBC font used in the bank’s iconic branding is most likely a custom-designed typeface, created to match the company’s sharp, modern, and highly recognizable visual identity. Its bold, clean lettering expresses clarity, confidence, and global professionalism. While the original logo type is not publicly available as a retail font, Neue Haas Unica W1G Heavy is one of the closest commercial matches.
