Ever Wondered The Workstations Of Designers and Bloggers?

A week ago i was watching ”Leverage” on TV and there was a scene where the good man was trying to connect to a company’s computer on his glass desk.On that moment something came to my mind and i decided to send e-mails to the founders of some design related blogs to see where they write and work.I’m sure many people wonder the workstations of our friends and thank you very much  for helping me to create this post. Some of the bloggers will send later and i will add them here of course.

Where do i work?Well,i live in my cousin’s house for now and i will add my workstation photo when i moved to my house.

Hope you enjoy the post!!!

It’s so interesting to see how different peoples setups are in this industry. Macs, PC’s, Mac displays, samsungs its all different. Dual displays seems pretty constant though! Thanks for the feature.

  5. Interesting post and thanks for the include =)
I wish my table will be bigger enough for dual monitors.

  6. Chris O says:

Are web designers obsessed neat freaks or did they just tidy things up for the photo? I saw some of these posted elsewhere and I immediately started scraping the dried up Ramon noodles off my keyboard and finally took all those coffee cups back to the kitchen.

  7. Tim Owen says:

Hmmmm……. Quite uninspiring! I was expecting so much more! Designers are supposed to be creative!

  8. fandy says:

I don’t really think, their are have clean desk.
My desk usually more messy, especially my desk at home.
But, nice to know where they work.
Thank to include my desk, though late

Great to see how other designers have setup their workstations. And thanks for including me!

  14. I don’t care how many of these posts I’ve seen in the past year, I love every single one of them! I love seeing how different people work! There are a few up there I wouldn’t be able to work at (too dark, too bright, not enough space etc), so it’s cool to see how people can adapt to different environments! :)

  15. Krishna says:

WOW!…its pretty cool to see other designers work stations!…
if only my desk was as clean as some of them!!

  16. Great roundup.

    LOL, Chris Spooner’s desk looks JUST like mine xD;

  17. Neal says:

Me thinks Adii had a little clean up before presenting his pic!

Great post though. I second the vote for another post on regular bloggers set ups!

  18. nice desktop setup!

I wonder if you have hear about the micro community on desktop sharing where’s a bunch of designer & geeks posting their desktop setup? can’t seems to find it again…

  19. Clay Cooke says:

It is nice to see the work-spaces of others and how they set them up. My setup isn’t much different than some of these.

  20. Codesquid says:

Fewer Macs than I was expecting! Mine could do with a tidy, far too much clutter! I should really clean it up at the weekend!

  21. Danstyled says:

I want Zach Dunns sofa for my office. Wonder where he got it.

  22. Chad Engle says:

Mine is that clean all the time! :) I hate starring at stuff on the desk and I focus on that instead of the design so, its pretty much always like that. :D

  23. Jonathan says:

Very interesting to see.. I noticed alot of the same products that I have which surprised me since I’m just a student trying to start freelancing!
Anyway I’m pretty sure most of them cleaned the desks before taking the photo.. except for maybe Coiyer, he’s awesome imo.

  24. Danstyled says:

Mine, shame about the quality of the phone and the messy desk.

That’s really interesting. Makes me think of my own workspace. I wish I was working closer to a window, I love natural light. In addition make me wonder if its a good idea to have a PC and a Mac, or if just having one option is alright. I use a Mac desktop and PC laptop, but now that I’m using a virtual computer to access windows on my Mac I’m hardly ever on my pc unless I’m going out of town. So just wonder if anyone has some opinions on that. Thanks and great post.

  26. Ya, mine is nowhere near that clean. I <3 the Mac setups though. Very cool…

  27. very exciting and embaraced for me :( i think i can not keep my desk clean

Sorry, have to agree with Tim Owen – mainly uninspiring. One or two were ok, not much you can do with a computer other than place it on a desk, but the environments could be so much more inspiring.
